About Me
As a self-taught artist originally from New York City, my creative journey has been anything but linear. Though my early passion for art was set aside to pursue academic and professional goals, including a BA in Anthropology from the University of Michigan and a Master’s degree from UCLA, my love for painting never truly faded.
After years of dedicating myself to organizing and working within local government, I rediscovered my first love—painting—and it has been my unwavering focus ever since. Swapping my watercolors for house paint, I began to transform my living space into vibrant canvases, curating a joy-filled environment that reflects my personal evolution.
My debut collection, “Alchemy in Color,” is a testament to the transformative power of art. It is a reflection of my journey towards healing and happiness, as I process the impacts of a childhood marked by trauma.
Each piece within this collection is imbued with the essence of joy, beauty, love, and abundance that I am cultivating in my life. Even in the darkest of times, there are pockets of bright, so take the time to appreciate this vibe. I invite you to pause, breathe deeply, and allow these emotions to resonate within you.
